Eira pattern is named after the Eira Hospital in Helsinki, where the original photo is shot from. The picture is taken from Huvilakuja instead of Tehtaankatu, which side of the building is more familiar to most people.
The building was designed by Lars Sonck and was completed in 1905, and is part of the unique Art Nouveau city of Helsinki.
