The Ateljee pattern is named after the Ateljee bar at the Tower Hotel in Helsinki, where the original photo is shot from. The yellow building is the corner of the streets Eerikinkatu and Yrjönkatu. The famous eagle owl Bubi, who has given the name to the Finnish national football team, has been living on the roof at the bottom of the pattern and, according to the story, has regularly dripped the bones of the pigeons into the courtyard.
