The reddish house in the pattern is the Balder House, over 200 years old, owned by the Balder Temperance Society. The house was built in 1814 by Adolf Fredrik Gebauer and designed by Pehr Granstedt. Balder is a god of joy, beauty, peace and compassion. The yellow house is home to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland.
